Do you love San Francisco Psychedelic Music, vintage 1966-67? If so, you need to have this cd. It includes the amazing original album, plus a bunch of extra tracks. These are all bands who were active at the Avalon, Fillmore, Matrix etc at that magical time. They are obscure as hell and the recordings are the product of Mainstream Records (a jazz label) to cash in on psychedelia and the Summer of Love hype. The thing is is this stuff is good:Euphoria and Harbinger Complex being the best. Euphoria actually came from Texas, but were an honorary SF band like the 13th Floor Elevators because of the amount of time they spent playing there. This is choice quality stuff!
