I saw David Garza live at Kerrville way back in the 90's. It was one of those all star nights at Kerrville with an incredible line up. I had never seen or heard of David Garza before this evening, but he stole the show for me. He is an exceptionally talented and innovative guy. I think that I have his entire body of work including this box set. My personal favorite album is "Young and Naive", but I have never been disappointed in his work. I agree with many comments made questioning why he is still relatively unknown to the music scene. However, don't confuse "Dahveed" with the other David Garza from Texas. The other David Garza is a Tejano musician. The musical styles of the two David Garza's are quite different. Be sure that you are listening to and ordering work from the correct David Garza, according to your musical tastes.
